HEALTH CARE

HOME > OUR WORK > HEALTH CARE

Rural health care is one of India’s most significant issues. Rural communities confront a variety of access hurdles to healthcare services, which is crucial to good health. A National Academies paper from 1993, described it as the timely utilization of personal health services to achieve the greatest potential health results. Rural communities often face healthcare challenges that limit their capacity to receive the care they require. In rural India, where the number of primary health care centers (PHCs) is limited, 8% of PHCs lack doctors or medical staff, 39% lack lab technicians, and 18% lack a pharmacist.

The tribal, ethnic communities in Jharkhand are overblown by a plethora of communicable and non-communicable diseases, malnutrition, infant and maternal mortality, and morbidity among children. About 35 tribes of these indigenous groups lack awareness and consciousness among themselves for utilizing the healthcare facilities provided to them. In Jharkhand, 19.6% of children are malnourished, owing to the mother’s malnutrition, which causes both maternal and infant mortality. Due to a dearth of iron-rich foods and access to iron and folic acid supplements, 70% of teenagers and pregnant women are anemic. In Jharkhand, TB has emerged as a result of acute malnutrition.

Healthcare is the right of every individual

The community should be able to conveniently and confidently access healthcare services and the barriers that rural residents experience-
  • Barriers to care, including workforce shortages and health insurance status
  • Transportation
  • Health literacy
  • The stigma associated with conditions in rural communities

Healthcare is the fundamentals of the community. You can make the difference.

We have been providing tremendous relief to disadvantaged individuals in terms of healthcare by providing them with health facilities to cure their fundamental health needs. We regularly organize primary healthcare camps across the State and also support community healthcare projects like- Covid Care: Awareness campaign for appropriate self-protection during the pandemic; awareness & support for self-protection and appropriate medication during home isolation; and for encouraging people to take vaccines. And provide oxygen bed facilities.
Project Santusti: Provide supplementary nutrition (in addition to Mid-Day Meal and home meals) to the children of the villages by giving them a simple meal consisting of 300 ml of milk, 1 egg, and 1 banana every day. This will help to bridge the nutrition gap to a significant extent.

The only purpose of giving is to gift a smile
