This project of Mongia Green Foundation Aims to:
· Provide oxygen bed facilities and a place for resting at a facility near Giridih Sadar Hospital – In association with the Bar Association of Giridih, Mongia Green Foundation has set up a 10-Bed facility at the Bar Association building at Kacheri Chowk, Giridih. Patients who visit the Sadar Hospital for testing or consultation can use the facility to rest. They can get oxygen as well if needed. Free food is provided to the patients and their companions.
· Covid Awareness Campaign & Home Care Support Project – Awareness campaign for appropriate self-protection during the pandemic; awareness & support for self-protection and appropriate medication during home isolation; and for encouraging people to take vaccines.
Objectives
· To encourage people located in small towns and villages to take adequate self-protection by wearing appropriate masks, hand washing, and using sanitizers.
· To encourage people to seek medical advice from registered doctors in case there are symptoms of Covid-19 infection.
· To sponsor the full cost of home care medicines and self-protection items of BPL cardholder people who have been advised by a doctor for home isolation and home-based care for Covid treatment but cannot afford to buy the medicines.
· To encourage people to take vaccines by informing them about the available vaccines and the benefits of vaccination.
· To distribute Masks, Sanitizers, and Information relating to Covid-19 to the remotest villages of Giridih, Jharkhand.
Key Highlights:
The Awareness campaign on the Covid care project has covered 122 villages in Giridih, reaching out to 1200+ beneficiaries.
